Constables protect your civil liberties and are governed only by state law. As a constitutional officer, Constables are the only law enforcement officer who can solely and dedicatedly help protect you civilly and criminally both. Constables work for you, the people and are chosen by the people to serve the people. Constables are accountable only to the law the citizens they serve. Constables can be removed from office or denied reelection if not serving you properly. Constables provide services that government managed police agencies do not provide, filling the many gaps needed. Constables stand ready to serve and protect and do not cost taxpayers any money to do so.
Constables serve warrants to follow through with judgements and to maintain justice. When warrants go unserved, offenders are not held accountable and will continue to break the law because they can get away with breaking laws without consequences. The justice system only works if there is a follow through on penalties and not empty threats. The sheriff's office does not have enough time or staff to serve all the warrants and neither does local or state police who are needed for emergencies. This is why constables are needed for executing warrants and should be carrying out warrant services regularly. If the sheriff's office or police were to attempt this alone it would cost the taxpayers greatly and many would go unserved and show no consequences for breaking the law.
